David has over 30 years’ experience conducting financial services research, analysis and consultancy for a wide range of organisations. He has a knack of being able to grasp complex issues and then explain them such that they can be easily understood by target audiences.
He is a frequent author of reports, articles, speeches, press releases, award entries, conference agendas, panellist/presenter talking points, website and annual report content, preparatory talking points for media interviews and internal and external corporate communications on a wide variety of subjects.
He is experienced at product evaluation, competitor analysis and monitoring and determining the likely impact of regulatory changes, as well as identifying and developing topics to assess consumer attitudes and behaviour to generate both commercial insight and newsworthy topics.
In his time as an insight analyst at Defaqto, he became one of the ‘go-to’ sources in his areas of expertise for journalists. David has been quoted over a thousand times in national newspapers and has been interviewed on numerous occasions by national broadcasters, including 20 appearances on BBC1 Breakfast TV.
